To report a claim, policy holders or agents must contact Universal at 1-800-288-8050, and choose the option for reporting a claim as soon as possible after the loss occurs. Our Claims Service is available 24/7 for your convenience.

To make a payment on your active policy by credit card, policy holders or agents may contact Universal at 1-800-288-8050, and choose the option for Credit Card Payments. This service is available from 9:00am until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Our representatives can take a credit card payment on your in-force policy and will be glad to assist you.

If your policy has been cancelled, you must contact your agent immediately to obtain coverage. Universal cannot accept a payment by telephone on a policy that has cancelled or expired.
